Drills are an integral part of a DIY inventory. The drill type depends on the drilling to be done. The best type of drill to start out with is a battery operated drill. If you are going to use the drill for a driver and a drill, it is best to get a drill that is powered by 18 volt or better. They are the best all around tools for drilling or driving screws. This will be about all the home DIY person will use it for, so this is the way I would go.
